You get what you pay for!
My new 60" plasma has an excellent display but predictably poor audio from its built-in speakers. For serious listening and blu-ray watching, I use my home theater system which includes Martin Logan SL3s, a Logos center channel, and Vignettes for surrounds but for normal TV watching I need a sound bar that won't offend my all too sophisticated ears and one that turns on and off with the TV and cable box so my wife can enjoy the TV when I'm not home.

The Motion Vision is the sixth sound bar in just a few months that I have had in my system. Several factors separate it from the others I've auditioned, three of these sound bars included wireless subwoofers...they had some ill defined bass which seemed distant from thin sound emanating from the bars. The large flat wooden Zvox was highly touted by home theater and audiophile mags, it was my biggest disappointment.

Wow, this is a nice soundbar!
Well if you are looking at this review you are probably looking for an upscale soundbar. Also, I doubt that Martin Logan is a term you probably you know if you are looking here. I was looking for a great soundbar for our family room. My theater set up is a nice Definitive Technology set up that we were used to watching all our TV on. Alas the house has changed and I was found looking for a more wife pleasing audio solution, after hating listening to the actual TV speakers . So I found 3 real options B&W with it's 2k panorama bar (now redone to include HDMI), Martin Logan's Motion Vision at about 1.5k, and Definitive Technology's solocinema again about 1.5-2k (but includes a wireless sub). I went out and bought the definitive as it was a new product and I love my definitive theater system. Needless to say it one did not work, two never really sounded good with shows like "The Voice", but did sound good with movies. Anyhow, because it failed I went back to check out the Martin...
