I Want Another Set!
I'm pleased with this item. The amplified speakers put out more volume my neighbors really wish I had. And they aren't half bad to look at either.
I was worried the bass wouldn't be enough; but it's really tight and plenty deep! I opened Windows Media Player 10's Graphic Equalizer, and turned it down a hair, first thing. It's been a little tough getting the high end sounds to sound as nice; but using an EQ is an art, and every song is different.
My; Remote's Input Port, LEDs, Surround Sound and Bass Boost buttons all work fine.
Two of the speakers come with 12'-15' RCA cables; which allowed me to put the satellite speaker high up on shelves well behind my chair. If my room were huge I would have found 10' 15' RCA cable extensions for like $5-$10. And two of the speakers come with 3'-4' RCA cables.

Works well, with unimportant defect.
I set this up for surround sound on my PC. It was easy and it works very well. The sound quality is great (I'm not an expert) and the surround works fine. There is plenty of ommph on the bass. The wired remote is convenient. The wires were all plenty long enough for a PC set up, which is what it is meant for. If you wanted to set them up to surround a whole room rather then your chair, they would be a little short.
This was exactly what I was looking for, and it does just what I want with no issues.
However, there is a plug coming from the remote that is meant to hook up to another audio device like an MP3 player. I tried 3 different devices and it doesn't work. I'm guessing there is some defect with the wire. Also there is a button that is supposed to turn normal stereo inputs into surround sound, and it doesn't work, the light won't even come on. I don't plan to use either of these features so there is no point wasting my time sending this back, but it was a...
