Quality sound at a great price
This is a great sound system if you are looking for a full 5.1 setup (speakers only). I bought this for our game room so it's not our main a/v setup. I'm very fussy about the quality of my audio so I was a little wary about spending so little on speakers (the most important and most under-rated part of any a/v system. My overall impression is that this is an excellent system, especially if you are looking for inconspicuous speakers for your home-theater. The system comes with four TL1 satellite speakersPolk Audio TL 1 Sat Speaker (Each, Black), a matched central speaker and a powered subwoofer. Setup is easy enough (some reviews of the TL1 systems complain about the cable posts but frankly I saw nothing that caused me any concerns - I was easily able to connect each speaker with Monster Xp-CI cable. My one and only complaint is the mounting of the speakers to the wall: there is a small keyhole to hang the speaker...

not bad for the price
well i bought these bad boys last month, this is my first surround system, and for the price they were about60 bucks cheaper back then) i love the sound that these speakers make. My first blu-ray was the star wars pack, and let me tell you it was a whole new experience. These speakers make me hear things i would have never thought were there, every now again i keep thing somebody is behind, the sound quality is amazing in a movie or T.V program Being a audio newbie i feel like i made the right choice and will be purchasing polk audio again.
So far, very happpy
I'm not an audiophile, but can say that these speakers produce a very clear sound and get as loud as I will ever want them to be.
