Polk Audio Dual 5.25
Just like Matthew Polk's Signature Reference Theater (SRT) system, the components used in the RT Series benefit from Dynamic Balance, a technology which came out of a joint research project between Polk Audio and Johns Hopkins University. This laser imaging research enabled Polk to view on a microscopic level the entire vibrating surface of a driver or tweeter. By this method Polk was able to observe the resonances, which develop on speaker cones as they move. These resonances are the root cause of frequency response distortions.

As an x-ray enables a physician to discover the root cause of a symptom and prescribe the right treatment for a cure, this laser imaging technique allowed Polk engineers to find the right combinations of high tech materials, geometry and construction techniques to tune out the offending resonances. The benefit of Dynamic Balance is the dramatic improvement in the sound quality of our speakers, which every listener can appreciate. You no longer have to choose between excellent bass and smooth, clear midrange. Now you can have it all thanks to Dynamic Balance technology.

A crossover is the part of the speaker system, which directs high frequencies to the tweeter and lower range frequencies to the woofer. But crossovers can create distortion, called phase shift, which reduces clarity and degrades the ability of the speaker to create a life-like spatial image. Thanks to Dynamic Balance technology, the response of Polk's mid-woofers remains accurate at much higher frequencies than conventional drivers. This allows Polk to place the crossover frequency above the range where your ear can most easily detect phase shirt (the critical midrange). The result is clarity and imaging so outstanding that the speakers seem to melt away. You'll feel as if you're at a live performance or actually on the movie set.

And the result of all these technologies? One listen will tell you. You
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.
You can trust this review, i hope you can try to buy this product and then you know this product good or no. Next time you can make a review for another people.

Nice for "hidden" center in a HT app - Superb fit/finish - Mediocre value-per-dollar.
Background: First off I am writing this based on my experience with many Polk Audio products, including: other Vanishing/RT series speakers, TSi 400 floor standers, CS20 center, OWM 3'S and 5'S, and finally several subs such as the DSW Micro PRO 1000, DSW Pro 550wi, and PW125. In the past i have also owned several products by "high end" brands such as B&O, Martin Logan, etc... The point I mean to make is that I am PICKY when it comes to sound!
Setup: 20x30ft basement, 8-10ft split ceiling, 105" front projection, 5.1 config, in ceiling Polk 620RT speakers, DSW PRO 550wi sub (wireless). Each speaker is wired with 14/4 CL3 in wall/ceiling.
Use: I installed this center channel to replace a 620RT which had been improperly installed by an audio/video tech in my dads basement home theater/multipurpose room. The guy installed the speaker between two joists which was occupied by a 120v AC line; the line rested on the back of the driver and the inductive field fried it lol...

Great Sound
I'm using this as the center channel speaker for a 5.1 sound system. I used all polk audio vanishing series speakers (65-RT front speakers and 620-RT for the surrounds) with a Yamaha RX-671 receiver. I appreciated the swivel tweeter feature since I wasn't able to place my speaker in the ideal position. I had a stud near the center of the wall were I have my TV and couldn't place the center channel exactly in the middle. I really like the sound produced by the vanishing series speakers in general and love the clarity which you hear with all various instruments used in music. Like many other in-wall speakers the base is not that great but for me it doesn't matter since I have a subwoofer as well.
Great center channel
This center channel delivers a great sound!! It completed the sound of my home theater.
It delivers better sound then my other high doller center channel I have on my other system.
