Dynamic and Balanced
The M-CS is a 2-way in-wall speaker with two high excursion 5.25" poly woofer and a 1" soft dome tweeter. This combination provides the utmost flexibility in terms of configuration and suitability to different types of audio tastes. In addition to smooth and natural vocals, the 5.25" woofers work together to produce good bass output, delivering impactful performance and ensuring seamless integration if a subwoofer is used.
Imaging and Clarity
The 1" soft dome tweeter provides abundant detail and clarity, generating solid and focused imaging for all sound sources in a spacious sound stage. Designed for a broadened listening sweet spot, the tweeter employs a diffuser to assist off-axis response as well as a pivoting mechanism to achieve proper aiming. Perfect integration between the tweeter and woofer is achieved through a 12dB crossover network with a compensation network. Once installed and setup, the M-CS projects a realistic sound stage with excellent resolution.

Great Speakers
I have purchased Dual 5.25" 2-way as well as 6.5" and 8" Micca speakers for my 7.1 Yamaha surround sound system. Sound quality is superb. Templates, instructions, self-securing brackets built into wall/ceiling speakers make their installation a breeze. Tweeter can be oriented towards target zone. The Dual speakers work very well for front center and side speakers, and size perfectly for easy fit between wall studs for installation. Middle speakers (back speakers for 5.1 system) need to be 8" Miccas, due to their greater bass output. Don't need that bass output for front speakers due to use of subwoofer providing all bass needed. The smaller 6.5" speakers work well as rear speakers in 7.1 system. Great quality, economic price, easy installation. No drawbacks. Highly recommend.

Great sounding speaker
I purchased this speaker for my center channel in my home theatre and for the money I think I made the right decision it sounds nice and clear and people are amazed about the sound quality that comes out of these speakers. I would highly recommend these speakers
Easy to Install -- Sound Great
I'm not an audiophile and I've never had any other in-wall speakers, but these things sound good to me for $45/piece.
I hooked up four of these to an old receiver and it was groovy. Install was probably 1 hour a speaker including running cable in my walls.
Install is pretty easy with the included template. I recommend you tape down the template, drill holes in each corner of the template and then cut the walls with your drywall saw.
I did buy some fiberglass insulation (ie. the "Pink Stuff") and stuffed a few layers behind each speaker. I didn't try them without the insulation, as the manufacturer recommends you insulate the speakers. It makes intuitive sense to me to insulate them.
I thought the mounting brackets and grille on the speakers are a little jenky, but for the price I can live with it.
