This Acoustic Audio 5.1 channel multi-speaker system features 5 perfectly matched in-wall speakers and one 8" powered home audio subwoofer. The system consist of three rectangular 6.5" 2-way in-wall/ceiling speakers, two round 6.5" 2-way in-wall/ceiling speakers, and one black 8" powered home audio sub. Because the speakers mount seamlessly into any wall or ceiling, there is no need to worry about unsightly speaker wire cluttering up your home or office. Each two-way speaker features polypropylene cones with soft dome tweeters and butyl rubber surrounds. Ceiling Install
installed these speakers in my drop ceiling and they sound great when driven by my 100w/ch pioneer receiver. took digital out from my tv back to receiver to sync up the audio with the video, TV was behind the sound. they sound great and the front speakers have adjustable tweeters, surround speakers do not. The powered sub, i still have to find a home for. limited now based on length of RCA cord. cardboard cut out forms were provided which made the installation easier. this is my first surround sound install so i didn't want to get too carried away. think the price is right for what i got, looks good (hidden) and sounds better than just the TV blaring at you.
