The predecessor to Blackstone TL, our RM series, was always about "Big Speaker Sound Without The Big Speaker." Blackstone TL represents a significant leap forward, delivering an astonishing home theater performance never before heard in compact loudspeakers.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

First review of TL 250 - Really awesome speakers!!!
I am really surprised that I am the first person to be reviewing these speakers. They launched about 4 months back, and I waited almost 3 months for atleast 1 decent review to come out somewhere before I put in my big bucks into this. But absolutely nothing came. No review. I convinced myself to get a Energy Micro...as I couldn't afford to be a pioneer myself :( As luck would have it...the store ran out of energy, which meant I ran out of options. Still no reviews...but I plunged in and ordered one.

Boy am I glad I did!

Setting up: Very easy if you are wall mounting or placing them on something. Speaker stands - make sure you get the right ones (more below). I used 14 gauge wires and they went in with élan! Suggest you guys use the same. All done in 30 mins.

Performance! I am using this with a new Pioneer VSX1120, without a subwoofer (bought a PSW111 as a bundle deal, but its got mixed up on delivery and will arrive in a few days). I have been...

Great tight little system
I am not a hardcore audiophile, but I do have sixty years of listening to mostly Classical music behind me. I bought this system to complement an entry level Polk subwoofer in a 5.1 home theater system. I find them to be Superb: clear, distortion-free, bright and balanced. Of course, the primary appeal is their small size and appearance. I'm sure from a purist view, I am not at the top of the line, but for my purposes I couldn't be happier. A point of view seconded by dozens of other civilians who marvel at my new sound system.
Polk TL250 offers well rounded sound stage
I must say that I am pretty impressed with these small wonder cubes. I had pretty good HT with towers but moving into a new house the family room was pre-wired for small system while the towers were to go into the dedicated HT.
I was confused between getting these new Polks or the Energy Classic. I had listened to Energy as I recommended those to a friend last year. From price perspective Polk and free sub were comparable to Energy setup. With no previous reviews available I went with pure gut feel with the specs, looks and Polk name. I must say that I have not been disappointed.
The speakers are built solid, nice smooth look and have 5 way binding posts. I liked the new port design and innovation with the tweeter. On specs I was liking the higher decibel rating than the Energy. I have felt Energy's center channel weakness at times and these 250's center channel had two speakers than one. I pulled the plug and am happy that I did so.
The speakers are pretty well rounded...
