Good System -- No Regrets
I'm amazed that more people haven't given this set a chance, though I'll admit that I was a bit leery to take the plunge myself, given the lack of available reviews. Also, the generic complaints about the wireless rear speakers did have me concerned.
First, let me comment on the wireless rear speakers: they work as advertised. I don't know if I just got lucky, the complainers were unlucky, or if my set is just waiting to die (I've only been able to watch a couple movies with it so far), but I've not had any issues with them thus far. There isn't any discernible delay with the wireless processing and the speakers sound pretty convincing.
The additional features of the set are quite nice, especially the Bluetooth connectivity, and the remote is fairly intuitive with a good menu-driven UI. No complaints there, though it would be nice if the set offered more granular control of the audio settings. The set works well with my wireless router and offers a number...

Not all that great
We bought this system for our home theater system. The sound is good out of the speakers. There are lots of software updates that are easy to apply. Sometimes there is a delay between the main unit and the bluetooth speaker system. I believe a software update fixed this problem.
My biggest issue with this is the atrocity of the wireless interface. I've moved my router to directly above the system and it still skips when playing movies through the internet. Using my Nintendo Wii to play the same content via the same router worked flawlessly.
The processor is a bit under-powered at times. The application 'store' takes a long time to load and the apps on there are pretty much useless.
It's tempting to try to find some way to get open source firmware on this and leave LG's slow software behind.
Decent system
I've had this one for a month now. The system is not bad and works well with my LG TV via SimpleLink.
The sound coming from front is very good. However, the sound from back speakers sometimes give out a feedback.
I noticed feedback mostly on old movies. New blueray flicks don't give feedback.
Overall, lots of great options. Bluetooth worked good with my Galaxy S 2 but you cannot control it from the player - must use phone.
Internet apps like Netflix work well. Overall, a decent product but due to feedback lost one star.
P.S. Wireless speakers work well. I was worried about them reading all reviews but they work and can be adjusted via software to provide distance, loudness, etc...
