Sound Bar
Jvc Thbc3 Soundbar Home Theater System With iPod Dock
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.
You can trust this review, i hope you can try to buy this product and then you know this product good or no. Next time you can make a review for another people.

Work great for me
Realize that I am not interested in "home theater" in that I am not trying to recreate some grand cinematic experience - I just want to watch TV with adequate sound and I feel like the TV makers don't even try anymore, assuming that everyone will buy additional hardware because they put such crappy speakers on TVs. I might have been happy with a cheaper soundbar, but my TV had only one sound output - an SPDIF RCA output. (That is, digital sound, but not the optical version). This is the first soundbar under $300 I found that would do that. I could have used the cheaper BC-1 but I liked the idea of the iPod connection since sometimes I use my iPod like a boombox - and this would be portable enough for that use.

The system works great on my cheap HDTV - the sound will not win any awards but it is far better than the cheap tinny speakers on the TV. I do not think paying $300 more for a TV would have gotten as good a sound. I like the variety of methods of getting sound into...

Solid soundbar
First time reviewing something but I thought this deserved one since there isn't much on the net for this product.I am recommending this soundbar for those that live in apartments or have sensitive neighbors. The sound is nice and clear it will not over power you with bass but does have some thump to it. The feature I like the most is the Ipod dock that is hidden in the middle of the bar,it works great with my Itouch. On the back It has all the sound inputs you will need for new TVs with Hdmi inputs or for those that still use older analog inputs it also has a digital optical in. The soundbar has a 3D surround sound feature that does work well for movies or sports. Also it is very easy to hook up compared to a surround sound system I had with wires all over my living room.Again I emphasize that I am recommending this for people that live in apartments or for those that don't want to be overpowered by more expensive systems.
Perfect for my needs
Wanted my living room less cluttered so got rid of stereo equip (moved to man cave) and surround speakers. I have just the cable box and the Blu ray connected with HDMI to one cable to new 60 inch Plasma. Got a logitech remote and bingo, everything is streamlined. Sound is good for TV. Haven't watched a movie yet since I am still burning in the Plasma and I don't want the black letterbox burn in. It could use a little more Bass, but you can get an external subwoofer. Hard to find a very small subwoofer. I don't want more clutter. The surround sound is good. Does fill a room. So far so good.
